You may view case documents free of charge in the Circuit Clerk’s Office. We have a public-access computer terminal which allows court patrons to view publicly-available information and documents. Circuit Clerk staff members are available to help you find what you’re looking for!

Certified Copies

To request certified copies of documents, please email riccecopy@co.rock-island.il.us. Please include as much information as possible about what you’re requesting, such as case number, parties’ names, approximate year, case type, etc.

Certified copies must be picked up from our front counter or mailed to you. Unfortunately, certified copies cannot be emailed as they have a special raised seal that only comes through on hard copies. Fees for copies, certification, and/or mailing apply. Please visit our fees page for details.

Standard Copies

To request standard (non-certified) copies of documents, please email riccecopy@co.rock-island.il.us. Please include as much information as possible, such as case number, parties’ names, approximate year, case type, etc.

Standard (non-certified) copies can be emailed to you! Hard copies can also be picked up at our front counter or mailed to you if you prefer. Standard copy and/or mailings fees apply. Please visit our fees page for details.
