yard waste

Let's talk about yard waste!

Yard waste can be leaves, grass clippings, or brush (branches and twigs)

Most communities in Rock Island County have a subscription-based yard waste program. If you want to learn more about enrolling in your community's program, visit our website and search for your community's name under our communities tab. https://ricwma.org/

If you live in rural Rock Island County, you may bring your yard waste to the compost facility at either landfill in the county. Call for pricing beforehand.
